Giuseppe Aureli (Rome, December 5, 1858 – 1929) was an Italian painter of mainly historical subjects, and paintings of oriental themes. He was a pupil of Raffaele Galzini and Cesare Maccari.〔( ''Dizionario degli Artisti Italiani Viventi: pittori, scultori, e Architetti.'' ), by Angelo de Gubernatis.
